In Transit commissioned me to run a series of clay workshops with local residents in the Portobello Pavilion, a radical temporary structure in Powis Square housing free workshops for all ages which celebrate a rich history of community engagement.

The Portobello Pavilion is a unique, imaginative pop-up structure.  Its ten-day programme of creative activities encourages dialogue on key issues in planning, regeneration, social housing, and urban green space.

My workshops, called Clay Houses, are devised to engage people and provoke thought and discussion about urban planning and housing.

Sessions: Friday 17th June, Monday 20th June, 1-5pm
