Throughout August 2016, The Ceramic House has been hosting our first ever residency programme for new collaborations between two pairs of ceramic and sound artists curated by myself and sound artist and Joseph Young. This is part of our collaborative project Landscape : Islands taking place throughout 2016 involving multiple exhibitions, residencies, and events, evolving from their own collaborative residency and exhibition In A Shetland Landscape that took place at Shetland Museum and Archives April-June 2016.
The ceramic artists have been living at The Ceramic House and working in my studio at Phoenix Brighton with the UK-based sound artists visiting regularly throughout the 5 weeks to create new installations for an exhibition entitled Landscape Islands at Phoenix Brighton as part of Brighton Digital Festival.
